The State of Education

Hi,

I am a big proponent of learning. That is one of the primary reasons I am attracted to working in the field of Finance, there is no shortage of new topics to learn, and markets in particular are dynamical systems that requires constant evolution with them, less get left behind.

I am a believer of strengthening the academic rigor and integrity of American education institutions. I aim to make a positive impact in that realm in my career.

Currently I am committed to my own professional education.

On the horizon would be further Graduate study in Financial Engineering or Computational Sciences. I am about to finish an MS Finance at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. Have been studying at Harvard University through the Extension School for post-bacc coursework in advanced mathematics. Am a CFA Level 1 Candidate. Received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fine Art, with a minor in History, Criticism, and Music from The University of Montana.

I am a first-generation college student, and will be the first member of my family to be a Graduate Student.

I enjoy collaborating, challenging, and coaching people around me, whether classmates, colleagues, or friends.

The true hallmark of mastery of subject matter, is the ability and willingness to be able to teach it to a student.
